I was born in Enna on January 30, 1988, to a Sicilian mother and an Italo-Tunisian father.

I earned my high school diploma from the Socio-Psycho-Pedagogical High School “Dante Alighieri” in Enna and went on to obtain a Law degree from the University of Rome “La Sapienza” in 2014, with a thesis in Ecclesiastical Law.

Between 2018 and 2019, I completed two advanced specialization programs:

• A Master’s in Abogacía (Law Practice) at the International University of La Rioja (UNIR), with a thesis in International Criminal Law focused on the defense of the accused in exceptional legal contexts.
• A specialized degree as a “Foreign Jurist Expert in Spanish Law” at the Universidad Nebrija in Madrid. This program enabled the recognition of my Italian law degree in Spain, culminating in a final thesis on the defense of the accused before the International Criminal Court.

Alongside my academic training, I undertook a comprehensive legal apprenticeship, gaining a multidisciplinary foundation through three distinct phases: initially at a firm specializing in personal injury and medical malpractice; then within the civil law field, focusing on condominium and inheritance law; and finally in a practice centered on corporate criminal law.

I am registered with the Bar Association of Rome and am the founder of Studio Legale Harakati, located at Via degli Angeli 71, Rome (VAT No. 16596701009), with professional liability coverage under Tokio Marine HCC policy No. HCC24-U0024686.

My primary areas of practice are criminal law, immigration law, and sports law. I am also certified for inclusion in the official register of public defenders before the Juvenile Court.

Over the course of my career, I have handled several high-profile cases, often operating in complex and high-sensitivity legal environments.

I am a native speaker of Italian, Arabic, and French, and I have fluent proficiency in Spanish, English, and Romanian.
